Application Scenario:
Industrial Gas Production
The air separation plant is widely used in the industrial gas production sector. In this application scenario, the oxygen/ nitrogen/ argon air separatoin plants are utilized to separate atmospheric air into its primary components, namely nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. The process begins with the compression of atmospheric air, followed by its cooling and purification to remove impurities such as moisture, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons. The cooled and purified air is then fed into a cryogenic distillation column, where it undergoes fractional distillation to separate the desired gases. Nitrogen, with a lower boiling point, is extracted as a gas from the top of the column, while oxygen and argon, with higher boiling points, are collected as liquid products from the bottom. These gases find extensive applications in various industries, including chemical, petroleum, metallurgical, and healthcare sectors.
